We held our last Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG) of the year on Wednesday at the very grand and very festive Champneys Eastwell Manor Hotel and Spa on Weds!

We welcomed guests from across the manufacturing and engineering sectors where they heard from Phillip Jarman from Innovate UK South East and Dave Carter and Jon Alford from Auditel (U.K.) Limited who delivered our Headline Topic “Navigating the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: Implications for Businesses within the manufacturing sector in Kent & Medway”. This included practical steps that can be taken now to ensure you are compliant.

We also heard from Massimo Mozzati from EKC Ashford College about their T-Level programmes and how businesses can get involved and Matt Peake from Kent & Medway Careers Hub who explained how engaging with their Employer Standards and their Teacher Encounters can help support your future workforce pipeline.

Thank you to Eastwell Manor for their impeccable hospitality and the team from Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce for hosting another successful KMFG!

We are back in January at Salomons Estate when we will be joined by Kerri-Anne Mruk from Make UK. We look forward to seeing you then – places can be booked here.

Every last Weds of the month!
