The Kent & Medway Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) is proud to be supporting Kent Construction Expo 2026, one of the South East’s leading construction industry events. The Expo brings together employers, contractors, suppliers, education providers and industry stakeholders to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the sector.
Produced by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, with support from Revolution Events, Kent County Council, Medway Council and the Kent Construction Focus Group; the Construction Expo event delivers a multi-track conference programme, a wide range of exhibitors and a unique opportunity for the construction sector in the southeast to come together for an invaluable day of networking and innovation.

Join industry leaders for the Construction Skills Briefing and Networking Breakfast, featuring Lucy Druesne, Deputy CEO of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and Strategic Lead for the Kent & Medway LSIP.
The session will explore the skills, workforce and recruitment challenges facing the sector, and the collaborative action needed between employers and education providers to build the workforce of the future.

Meet the Employer
As part of the Expo’s Skills and Workforce Partnership, the LSIP is working with the South East Consortium to deliver a new pilot Meet the Employer activity.
Designed to support the LSIP priority around entry pathways, careers, sector perception and work readiness, the initiative will connect construction employers directly with students from across Kent and Medway. Students will have the opportunity to hear from employers, explore career pathways, learn about apprenticeships and employment opportunities, and gain valuable insight into the industry.
Alongside the activity, students will also be able to explore the wider Expo, visit exhibitor stands and engage with businesses from across the construction sector.
