Welt Belt Company Ltd have a long standing history of engaging with local education providers and have supported many apprentices over the past 40 years. As part of their continued drive to engage with schools and inspire young people Lucy Druesne and Sarah
On the day they welcomed a group of Year 10 female engineering students from The Sittingbourne School to see their manufacturing and engineering facility, speak to their apprentices about their experiences and gain a greater understanding of what it is like to work in this sector across the board spectrum of roles from marketing and design to management and production.
We were also joined by Gordon Henderson MP for Sittingbourne & Sheppey and representatives from the Kent & Medway Careers Hub.
