Martin Peat, MidKent College
Martin’s career was decided when he left school and was walking around Maidstone with his brother. In short, it started to rain, really heavily, the nearest shelter happened to be the job centre and his brother pulled a card off the job advert board. It said Trainee Accountant required, he said that would suit me, and the rest is history.
After he qualified, Martin spent a number of years in the commercial sector before joining Ravensboure College as Director of Finance and Estates. He worked for two other colleges until he moved to MidKent College a few years ago.
