Kent & Medway Careers Hub – Headteachers And Business Summit 2024

The Headteachers and Business Summit 2024, organised by the Kent & Medway Careers Hub, is an opportunity for Education leaders to find out the latest thinking on how to implement a Careers strategy through a school improvement lens.

As well as hearing from key figures in business and careers leadership, and the impact an integrated careers strategy has on school improvement, we will also be launching a unique CPD offer to school leaders. The Level 7 qualification “Careers education as a lever for change: the role of executive leadership” (developed in partnership with Causeway Education and University of Wolverhampton) is a brand-new Masters qualification has been designed following feedback from Kent Headteachers.  This pilot is unique to Kent and Medway and will be on offer to secondary Headteachers, Trust Executive Heads and CEOs within the Kent & Medway Careers Hub.   Executive leadership will also be introduced to the range of tools and frameworks available to them to support integrated careers education, hear from the Local Skills Improvement Plan about the skills need within the County and network with businesses wishing to engage with education.

LSIP Strategic Lead, Lucy Druesne will address attendees alongside other keynote speakers at the event.
