There are a limited number of places available due to capacity restrictions and as a result of these constraints we are only accepting one representative per organisation at this specific event and we will be prioritising manufacturing and engineering organisations in the first instance.  If we reach maximum numbers a waiting list will be put in place and you will be notified by email.

Bookings will remain open until the event itself, but please note that if you book with less than 24 hours to go, your name won’t be on the “Signing in Sheet” and you won’t have a “Name Badge” on arrival.

Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG) is a networking and business group for Manufacturing & Engineering organisations across Kent and Medway offering a unique access to peers and colleagues, sector specific information, advice and support.

Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG) Site Visit – Saracen Horse Feeds

Saracen Horse Feeds are kindly opening the doors to their premises giving us the opportunity to learn more about their operations.  With over 200 years of nutritional expertise, Saracen is a family-owned British company that remains in the fifth generation of the founding members.

Itinerary

  • 9.45am Arrival/Tea & Coffee
  • 10.15am Introduction to Saracen Horse Feeds by Joint Managing Director, John Rawdon-Mogg
  • 10.30am Mill Tour
  • 11.30am Debrief/Q&A

Parking is available on site, but limited.  Where possible please car share.

Sturdy footwear is required, no stilettos please! The tour involves high walkways and staircases, although we can make alternative arrangements for those wishing to stay on the ground floor.

John Rawdon-Mogg, Joint Managing Director, Saracen Horse Feeds

John Rawdon-Mogg is the Joint Managing Director at Saracen Horse Feeds. John has spent seven years at Saracen as the director responsible for the operation at our site in Aylesford, the procurement of all commoditised raw materials and the development of our export sales.  Before this, John spent several years in the British Army, predominantly working in Operations and Planning.
