Last week, the LSIP Team visited EKC’s Broadstairs College to celebrate the official opening of their Innovation Kitchen—a cutting-edge, bookable professional kitchen designed to empower local food businesses. This state-of-the-art facility provides an affordable space for businesses to innovate, refine, and scale their products.
Backed by a £250,000 investment, the kitchen is equipped with advanced culinary technology, enabling users to streamline and optimise their production processes with greater efficiency. In partnership with Produced in Kent, the project has been carefully tailored to meet the needs of food businesses of all sizes, ensuring the right equipment is available to support every stage of food innovation.
