KENT & MEDWAY MANUFACTURING FOCUS GROUP (KMFG) – COLLEGE VISIT

WEDNESDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER

It was an absolutely fantastic morning for those who joined us from the manufacturing & engineering sectors for September’s Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG).

Three groups were hosted at our Further Education Providers within the region – MidKent College (Maidstone Campus)North Kent College (Gravesend College) and EKC Group (Dover Technical College) – for a tour of their facilities and a chance to hear about the fantastic work they are doing to support these sectors. Future proofing our workforce and ensuring there is a talent pipeline is at the forefront of all they do and it was amazing to see the investments being made to support the skills needs of Kent & Medway.

We extend our biggest thanks to Camilla Maurice, James Kerrigan and Lewis O’Callaghan of MidKent College, Paul Owen of EKC Dover College and Mark Andrews of North Kent College for their hospitality.

Thanks to all who joined us for your input across the session, it was great to join up all three groups via the innovative new technology in the immersive classrooms! Very impressive capabilities!

Thanks also to the team at Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce for your support. As always, a a great team effort – Lucy Druesne, Victoria Galvin, Sarah Parrish and Kim Pitchley.

Please do join us at the next KMFG on 25th October, further details here – every last Wednesday of the month!
