On Tuesday 27th August, members of the Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG) were welcomed to PrepWorld’s state-of-the-art facility in Northfleet for an eye-opening site visit that showcased innovation, operational excellence, and the power of a motivated workforce.

Hosted by Morag Bailey (Head of HR) and Andy Bevan (Head of Operations), the tour highlighted PrepWorld’s commitment to hygiene excellence, transparent sourcing, and continuous innovation. From automated production lines to sustainability-led practices, the facility demonstrated what modern manufacturing looks like when quality and purpose drive every decision.

The visit sparked valuable conversations around sector growth, skills development, and the importance of cross-industry collaboration. It also reinforced KMFG’s mission: to connect manufacturers across Kent and Medway, share best practice, and champion excellence in all its forms.
