Camilla Maurice, LSIP Project Manager, was delighted to attend the Kent Construction Focus Group monthly meeting this week, where she shared key insights from the newly published LSIP Progress Report 2025.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress made so far across the Kent & Medway Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), celebrate collaborative achievements, and outline the ambitious plans ahead. With construction identified as a priority sector within the LSIP, the discussion reinforced the sector’s critical role in shaping a future-ready workforce and driving regional growth.
Camilla expressed her sincere thanks to the group for their warm welcome and thoughtful engagement. The Kent Construction Focus Group continues to be a vital partner in helping ensure that skills provision aligns with the evolving needs of employers and communities across the region.
📅 Kent Construction Focus Group (KCFG) meets on the first Tuesday of every month, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to share insights and drive progress. In addition to construction, there are also sector-specific groups for Manufacturing and Engineering (KMFG), and Hospitality (KHFG), offering further opportunities for collaboration and impact across Kent & Medway.
If you’re passionate about workforce development and want to help shape the future of skills in Kent & Medway, we’d love to hear from you. To find out more about the LSIP and how you can get involved, please contact the team at:
