SKILLS 27, the third annual Kent & Medway Skills Summit, returns on Wednesday 17th March 2027 at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel.
Led by the Kent & Medway Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and funded by UK Government, this year’s summit will bring together employers, education and training providers, and key regional partners to explore the skills and workforce priorities that will support future productivity and growth across Kent & Medway.
Under the theme Workforce for Growth, SKILLS 27 will provide a valuable opportunity to share ideas, hear different perspectives and explore practical approaches to some of the workforce challenges and opportunities facing businesses today.
The day will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and a choice of seminar sessions, alongside opportunities to network, make new connections and strengthen collaboration between employers and the education and skills system.
Building on the success of the previous two summits, SKILLS 27 will continue the LSIP’s employer-led approach, ensuring the voices and experiences of businesses help shape conversations around skills and workforce development across the region.
