Last Wednesday marked a special occasion as LSIP Project Manager, Camilla Maurice, had the honour of speaking at the Supported Internship Graduation Ceremony, held in the stunning setting of Chatham Dockyard Church.
The event was a celebration of the achievements of Supported Interns, whose talent, dedication, and fresh perspectives bring immense value to workplaces across Kent and Medway. These graduates exemplify the power of inclusion and opportunity, and their success stories are a testament to what can be achieved when individuals are given the right support.
Camilla shared her admiration for the graduates, saying:
“It was an absolute privilege to celebrate these incredible young people. Supported Internships don’t just change lives – they enrich businesses and communities. The determination and enthusiasm shown by these graduates is inspiring, and I encourage every employer to consider the benefits of opening their doors to this talent.”
The evening was filled with pride as each intern received the recognition they deserve. A huge congratulations to all the graduates, your journey is an inspiration, and we look forward to seeing the incredible contributions you will continue to make in the world of work.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Medway Council and all partners for organising such an uplifting and important event. It was a fantastic showcase of collaboration and commitment to creating inclusive opportunities.
Well done to everyone involved! This ceremony was not just a celebration of achievement, but a powerful reminder of the positive impact Supported Internships have on individuals, businesses, and communities.
