KMFG Site Visit: Syntech Biofuel Showcases Innovation, Sustainability, and Purpose

Led by Director of Environment & Sustainability Mike O’Lone and COO Bob Hart, the Syntech team welcomed KMFG members with a tour that highlighted their cutting-edge processes, from feedstock handling to final fuel output. Attendees witnessed firsthand how Syntech ASB—an ultra-sustainable, ISCC-accredited biofuel made entirely from UK-sourced waste oils—is produced with precision, care, and a deep commitment to environmental responsibility.
The visit also sparked valuable conversations around regulatory compliance, innovation in waste-to-energy solutions, and the role of manufacturing in achieving the UK’s net-zero ambitions. Syntech’s approach to circular economy principles and their investment in local supply chains stood out as key differentiators in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
