Local Skills Improvement Plan
by Lucy Druesne

We are pleased to announce that we have brought together the team who will support the Skills Manager, Lucy Druesne, in driving the plan forwards and taking the next key steps towards a cohesive strategy for the local region involving multiple stakeholders and partners.

The newly formed Team comprises of a Project Administrator – Kim Pitchley – and two Information and Network Co-Ordinators – Sarah Parrish and Reshma Parmar.  All three come with a varied and diverse employment background.

Kim spent many years working in the Pharmaceutical Industry in various roles including a Quality Co-Ordinator and the PA to the Head of Quality before moving abroad for five years.  Since returning to work Kim joined the Chamber in 2021, first in a pivotal role supporting the initial LSIP Trailblazer in Kent & Medway before providing administrative support on the South East Business Boost (SEBB) Growth Grant Programme.

Sarah joins the team having worked for the Chamber since 2020, her primary role being the supervision and coordination of the SEBB Growth Grant Programme.  Sarah’s previous employment has included co-ordinating training programmes for Chairs and Clerks of school Governing Bodies, the implementation and delivery of various large-scale events alongside project delivery, analysis and relationship management.

Reshma joined the Chamber in March 2022, working alongside Kim and Sarah on the SEBB Growth Grant Programme in a compliance role. Prior to this Reshma’s career has predominantly involved multiple roles within the Ministry of Justice including as a Court Usher at the High Court, Royal Courts of Justice and a Court Clerk at Southwark Crown Court, roles that were incredibly interesting and diverse involving engagement with multiple stakeholders.

The team have a proven track record of working collaboratively together and very much look forward to supporting the development of the Kent & Medway Local Skills Implementation plan.
