We were delighted to participate in a fascinating and enlightening roundtable at our Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Headquarters in Ashford on 12th November discussing how ‘Esports can bridge the digital skills gap’.

Hosted in partnership with Dell Technologies and Intel Corporation and chaired LSIP Project Manager Camilla Maurice, we heard from Tom Dore of the British Esports Federation and John McCardle from Dell on how Esports can be used as a vehicle to engage with young people.

It is imperative that both young people and businesses break free from the stigma attached to Esports and understand the vital, transferable skills it nurtures and develops. From team building and communication to problem solving and digital competency; these skills can be applied and aligned to a wide variety of roles within any sector.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for contributing to such an engaging debate.
